Sipsmith Summer Cup Bar

Making its debut at Henley this year is Sipsmith’s interpretation of the quintessentially English ‘cups’ from the 1800s. Sipsmith will have their very own bar in the Barn Bar garden area with a lovely lawn and decked area to sit back and watch the racing. Pop by and meet some of the Sipsmith team to try the delicious summer cup and here all about the distilling process in “Prudence”.

Based on Sipsmiths award winning London Dry Gin, it is then blended with a host of carefully selected summery ingredients including infusions of Earl Grey tea, Lemon Verbena and Cucumber. Aromatic yet surprisingly dry, it's crying out for lemonade and fruit.

“What could be more delightful than Pimm's on an English summer afternoon? Summer Cup, that's what.” ES MAGAZINE

About Sipsmith

Following on from a hugely successful launch in 2012, Sipsmith Summer Cup is back and will be landing in stores across the UK from the beginning of June, including Sainsbury’s for the first time. Harking back to quintessentially English ‘cups’ of the 1800s, Sipsmith Summer Cup blends Sipsmith’s award-winning London Dry Gin, with homegrown lemon verbena and Earl Grey tea.
Sam Galsworthy, co-founder at Sipsmith, comments “We’re absolutely thrilled that Summer Cup is back this year. We believe the spirit has a wonderfully balanced dryness to it that is very moreish (exactly what is needed on gorgeous summer’s day). To celebrate, we will be organising a series of events in London over the coming months as soon as the sun starts shining - keep checking www.sipsmith.com and our twitter feed @SipsmithSam for further information.”
