The Start Summer Bistro by Mosimann's
Located by the Start of the Regatta course, this public area is an excellent place to feel the excitement of the rowing and enjoy the hospitality of Mosimann’s. Within The Start area you can watch the crews prepare and commence racing from the complimentary Grandstand, follow the race with the live racing commentary, and keep up to date with all results from the live results feed.
The Start Summer Bistro by Mosimann's offers a range of Bento Box lunches and Afternoon Tea menus, with seating in the riverside garden. There is a public bar at the Start serving the finest Brakespears, wines, spirits, soft drinks and of course Pimms!
The Start is also a great base for families with a play area and plenty of space for families to relax. Come down and join us for lunch or just a drink or book the Reserved Start Car Park in advance to guarantee your riverside spot for the day.
Tickets are not required for The Start Summer Bistro.

You’re dressed for the occasion, so why not arrive for the occasion, in style, on a Hobbs of Henley boat. Instead of jostling your way through the crowds of eager Regatta goers, you can alight a Hobbs boat from the 
River & Rowing Museum jetty only a short walk from Henley station, or Temple Island Meadows, just past the Start of racing and arrive at or depart from you Regatta location smoothly and effortlessly, making your journey a part of the occasion.
The River Taxi service will stop just past the start line with only a short walk to the Start. The Start Summer Bistro & Bar is the perfect spot to watch the start of the racing whilst enjoying a drink, lunch or afternoon tea and keeping up to date with all of the action with live commentary throughout the day. This is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxed lunch from Mosimann’s bento Box menu or Afternoon Tea.
The River Taxi will run hourly from 10.15 am departure from Henley thorough to the last return at the end of racing with a later service from 6pm – 8pm on Friday and Saturday
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before to ensure your secure your preferred sailing time.
